So, what’s MC2 stand for? It’s MINI Cooper 2nd generation, and our mascot is Cousin Ernie (a distant relative of a well-known scientist) so we answer to MC squared, too. Our T-shirts proudly state, “Einstein was wrong, MC2 = Excitement!!

We’re a small team of MINIacs in Seattle, led by a transplanted Englishman and contributing staffers that have been into MINI since it came to America in 2002. However, we also appreciate our “little brother,” the classic Mini as we respect our roots. We scour the planet looking for the best- and usually exclusive- modded MINI features, create tech stories for the average MINI owner, have had a few nifty project vehicles, attend various national events, and run a website and social network that isn’t chasing the latest MINI news that every auto magazine’s running after.
